Gwent Dragons to tour Gwent The newly created regional team for Gwent, the Gwent Dragons will be touring the region over the next few weeks ahead of the start of the season.
They will start their tour in Monmouth on August 28th by attending the Monmouth show. Whilst at the show they will host a number of coaching clinics. So if you want to kick like Percy Montgomery and Lee Jarvis, pass like scrumhalves Gareth Baber and Bryan Shelbourne and be as accurate in the lineout as Paul Young then Monmouth show is the place to learn these skills. Sure to be one of the shows highlights.
“Its all about bringing the regional team to the people of the region. We can’t just expect people to watch the new team, we have to take the team to the people and give them the opportunity to meet the squad and find out more about the Gwent Dragons. Also holding a launch in London Welsh, Richmond on the following day Friday 29th as the are part of our playing district going there to introduce the squad and see how we can extend our relationship further.”
