Newport Gwent Dragons U18s preparations for the WRU Reebok Regional Championships got off to a good start with an emphatic 57-0 win over NHSOB on Monday night.

Newport Gwent Dragons U18s preparations for the WRU Reebok Regional Championships got off to a good start with an emphatic 57-0 win over NHSOB on Monday night. Jason Tovey scored a hat trick while Nathan Preece scored a brace. Other tries were by Chris Wannell, Danny Ellis, James Leadbetter, Morgan Allen, Gareth Hopkins and W Brown. Danny Ellis converted three tries with Chris Wannell adding two and Jason Tovey one.

Speaking on the result Team Manager Billy Vivian said, "The boys put in a good performance particularly Kyle Price who unfortunately got injured at the end. It proved to be a useful identification exercise as we build towards our opening WRU Reebok Regional match against the Ospreys at Abertillery Park on September 6th. I would like to take the opportunity to thank NHSOB for staging the match and their hospitality."
