Newport Gwent Dragons have today confirmed that there will be summer camps both at Rodney Parade and throughout the region in the month's of July and August.
This is a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to develop their skills while having fun with WRU qualified coaches. Youngster's will also be able to pick up tips and insights from Dragons players.
The courses will be targeting 8 to 14 year olds and youngsters can choose from an intensive one-day course or a three-day course. The three day course will involve running and agility skills, fitness techniques, handling, decision making skills, kicking and contact skills. The one-day clinics will focus on running, handling, decision-making, kicking and contact.
Summer Course Dates: 4, 3 day Courses
Course 1: 26th-28th July 10-3pm Rodney Parade 8 & 9 yrs
Course 2: 31st July, 1st and 2nd August 10-3pm Rodney Parade 10 & 11 yrs
Course 3: 9th 10th 11th August 10-3pm Rodney Parade 12-14 yrs
Course 4: 14th 15th 16th August 10-3pm Rodney Parade 10 &11 yrs
3 One-day Clinics to be held throughout the Region
Tues 25th July 10-3pm Caldicot 10-12 yrs
Thurs 3rd Aug 10-3pm Cross Keys 10-12 yrs
Tues 8th Aug 10-3pm Monmouth 10-12 yrs
