The Dragons return to the Heineken Cup as members of Pool One in which they will face Guinness Premiership side London Irish; 2003 finalists Perpignan; and Italian side Benetton Treviso.
The Dragons faced Perpignan in the competition in the 2004/05 season where they won the home game 27-14 but lost the away leg 32-9. Joining the French side for next season is former Dragons fullback Percy Montgomery and when the two sides clash later in the year Monty can be sure of a warm reception from the Rodney Parade crowd!
Round one of the competition will take place on the weekend of 9 November, with the Millennium Stadium hosting the final on the weekend of 24 May 2008. Tickets for the final will go on sale to the general public on Friday 22 June at 12noon through Ticketmaster (UK tel: 0844 8471530) and on-line at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. Tickets are priced at £20, £35, £45 and £55 with concession prices for juniors at £22, £24 and £32
