Newport Gwent Dragons and USA centre Paul Emerick has been banned for five weeks after being cited for a dangerous tackle on England's Olly Barkley.
Emerick was judged to have 'speared' Barkley and has 48 hours to appeal against the ban.
The offence carries a ten week ban but mitigating factors were considered which resulted in the five week ban.
