Dragons back row Joe Bearman underwent a successful operation on his groin on Friday following the injury he picked up earlier in the season.
Despite early indications that surgery could be avoided, it was decided that going under the knife was the best option for the number 8.
Joe will now be following a rehabilitation programme which should see him back in action for the region before the end of the season.
