Newport Gwent Dragons have announced the team to face London Irish for this Friday’s pre-season friendly match at Rodney Parade, 19:30 kick-off.
The Dragons will be looking to finish off pre-season preparations with a bang fielding a strong starting XV that includes three of the summer signings; former Scarlet Daniel Evans at full back, Wales Under 20s sensation Tom Prydie on the wing, and former Pirate Ian Nimmo in the boiler house at 4.
A number of players are not available for selection including; newly appointed Captain Lewis Evans, Adam Jones, Rob Sidoli, Dan Watchurst, Joe Bedford, Ashley Smith, Tonderai Chavhanga, Will Harries and Jamie Smith.

The Dragons will be completing their summer of open training sessions on Tuesday 21 August at Rodney Parade. All are welcome to come and see the Men of Gwent put through their paces as they prepare for the opening RaboDirect PRO12 match of the season when Zebre Rugby visit on Friday 31 August.
