PREMIERSHIP RUGBY THIS WEEKEND

Regional premiership teams in action this weekend

Saturday 17th November

Bedwas v Cardiff 14:30 Bridge Field, Bedwas
Second placed Bedwas welcome Cardiff to Bridge Field on Saturday in the Principality Premiership's match of the week. The home side, who have enjoyed a superb start to the season, sit in second place going into the game, three points behind leaders Llandovery albeit having played a game more. Saturday's clash takes on extra meaning as Blue and Blacks head coach Martyn Fowler returns to the side where he was forwards coach last year. He is joined by new backs coach Mark Ring who joined the club from Cross Keys this week.

Cross Keys v Llandovery 14:30 Pandy Park, Cross Keys
Cross Keys have announced the team to take on Llandovery at Pandy Park in the Principality Premiership on Saturday. The Keys are extremely fortunate to be able to call upon the services of one of their favourite sons with Steffan Jones coming in at outside half from The Dragons whilst his Dragons team mate, hooker Sam Parry provides the cover on the bench for Gerwyn Price who returns after a few weeks out with a shoulder injury.

Neath v Newport 14:30 The Gnoll, Neath
Newport play Neath on the back of 4 consecutive wins this season in the British & Irish Cup and Welsh Premiership but they will know that wins at the Gnoll don’t come easy. Back rower Lee Evans is set to lead Neath against Newport. Mark Williams, who recently transferred from Cross Keys, will start for the all blacks. Dragons players Tim Ryan, Nathan Williams and Mike Poole all play for Newport RFC.
