Newport High School will be hosting a Ladies Regional Skills Evening on Tuesday 18th September. This is an open night for all women over the age of 18, to practice some basic rugby skills including communication amongst teams. Everyone is welcome whether they are part of a regional team or not, any players along with their coaches can attend the night. This will be a chance for women amongst the region to join together and create an ethos amid the teams. It will also start the building process of making Gwent the strongest Women’s Region. The evening will commence at 6pm with a brief meeting in the Dragons Meeting Room at Newport High School, with the session itself starting at 6:30pm and finishing around 8pm. For those attending with cars there will be car parking available at the rear of the school.
