The regional stars included Rob Sidoli, Nathan Williams, Darren Waters, Phil Price, Matthew Pewtner, Kris Burton, Lewis Robling, Adam Hughes, Jack Dixon, Nathan Buck and Jonathan Evans who all visited the patients to help brighten up their day.
The men of Gwent spent the afternoon meeting both the staff from floors 6 & 7 and the children along with their parents.
The eleven players present handed out signed team photos, flags and all sorts of Dragons goodies as well as posing for photographs with everyone. One very excited patient called Will stayed in the hospital longer than he needed to, after being discharged earlier on in the day, just to meet the Dragons players and get his photo taken with them.
The Dragons would like to send a special thank you to Jade Mullane a PCSO for Gwent Police for arranging this visit. They would also like to thank all of the staff at the Royal Gwent Hospital Children's Ward for their warm welcome and a very speedy recovery to all of the patients. Merry Christmas!!
