This is the Welsh Regions last pre-season friendly before entering into the Guinness PRO12 tournament and taking on Connacht in Round 1.
Newport Gwent Dragons named 33 players in their squad for this evenings game including the likes of skipper Lee Byrne, Boris Stankovich and Rynard Landman. With Aviva Premiership winners Northampton Saints showing their full support of the game by naming Dylan Hartley and George North.

Ticket Update
Tickets for this evening’s match are available from the Rodney Parade Ticket Hotline on 01633 674 990 up until 3pm, or from newportgwentdragons.com until 2.30pm. Pre-booked tickets can then be collected from the main gate at Eugene Cross Park from 5.30pm.
Supporters unable to contact us by that point can still pay cash on turnstiles - £10 adults, £5 OAP/ NUS, under 16s free.
Season ticket holders who have yet to claim their free ticket have until 3pm to do so, please call 01633 674 990 before 3pm to ensure that you don’t miss out.
Travel Update
Supporters travelling on the coach are reminded that it will depart from Newport Train Station at 6pm; departing Eugene Cross Park at 10pm.
