Internationals Prydie and Coombs return

Welsh International winger Tom Prydie has returned to the starting line up to face Bath Rugby this Saturday (KO 2.30pm).

Prydie suffered a hamstring injury whilst training with Wales for the Autumn Internationals last year. He has been out for XXX months and will be looking to make a big impact in his first game of this year.

Dragons skipper Andrew Coombs also returns to the fold as he sat out the New Year’s Day game with a knee injury, which he suffered against the Cardiff Blues on Boxing Day.

Fullback Dan Evans retains his place once more and is joined in the back three by Matthew Pewtner, who has moved from 11 to 14 and Tom Prydie as blindside wing. The centre pairing sees a slight change as Ross Wardle steps in alongside Ashley Smith as Pat Leach is on the bench. Jason Tovey gets the nod again from Lyn Jones as fly half and Richie Rees returns to scrum half, after being on the bench to face Cardiff Blues.

In the forwards pack four changes have been made, there is one change in the front row as Owen Evans and T.Rhys Thomas retain their places Nathan Buck steps in to make his second start of the season. Matthew Screech is then moved to the bench to make way for skipper Andrew Coombs and Rob Sidoli in the second row. The back row sees two changes from last week as Jevon Groves is blindside flanker, Nic Cudd is open side flanker and British and Irish Lion Toby Faletau.

There have been seven changes made to the bench with Elliot Dee, Hugh Gustafson, Dan Way, Matthew Screech, Ieuan Jones, Luc Jones and Pat Leach. Then Steffan Jones keeps his place on the bench from last week.
