FoNR have always had a very good working relationship with the club and these memberships further cement the excellent partnership between the organisations.
Gareth Davies quoted, ‘In the short time that I have been at Rodney Parade I have been very impressed with the amount of help that FoNR put into the organisation with their various fundraising activities. It is great to see the supporters getting behind us and we value their support’.
Will Godfrey mentioned, ‘ The income that FoNR generates is a great help in supporting the Newport RFC team as well as the facilities here at Rodney Parade. FoNR have been very supportive of the club for many years now and we hope that their membership continues to grow in future years. Not only is their financial input very important, the social events and dinners that they organise are always well received.’
Jim McCreedy added, ‘The latest large donation of cash from FoNR will be put towards improving the standard of the training pitch at Rodney Parade by providing better lighting and extra drainage. We are very grateful to FoNR and their members’.
