After the Dragons taking the win from their first friendly at Ystrad Mynach followed by winning the Welsh leg of the Singha Premiership 7s tournament the squad have returned to training this week positive about taking on the West Region.
The family fun day is due to take place before the match kicks off (19:00) with the gates opening at 17:00. All of the family are invited to this fantastic event with all of the activities taking place on the famous Rodney Parade ‘cabbage patch’, these attractions include:
- Friends of Newport Rugby Beer Festival including 25 real ale and ciders
- Interviews with the new Dragons players and coaching staff after the match
- Glamorgan Cricket fun zone
- Newport City Live Golf and Tennis area
- Rugby skills camps
- Bouncy castles
In addition to these there is due to be a mascot race and lots of player signings throughout the evening too, so there really is something for all of the family.
