Rodney Parade’s first Fireworks Night in 13 years was hailed a huge success last night as a sell out crowd of 5,000 watched a fantastic display light up the Newport skyline.
Before the display revelers were treated to musical performances from the Brooks who appeared in last year’s X-Factor followed by Brit Award nominees Stoosh. The all-girl group performed a string of hits as well as taking a selfie on stage (see picture).
Kelly Reardon-Brown, Event Manager at Rodney Parade said "the support has been fabulous, which is great considering the weather. We would like to thank everyone for coming."
Following the success of the night plans are already underway at Rodney Parade for a repeat event in 2016.
