Carl Meyer, the Newport Gwent Dragons full back, has been cited by the independent citing commissioner at the Guinness PRO12 match against Ulster at the Kingspan Stadium, Belfast, last Friday, 5th February, for alleged foul play in the 67th minute of the second half.
The player's hearing, before an independent PRO12 Rugby Disciplinary Committee will take place shortly.
Law 10.4 (g) Dangerous charging. A player must not charge or knock down an opponent carrying the ball without trying to grasp that player.
