This weekend there are eight Dragons players set to represent Wales against Ireland as both the Under 20s and Womens teams get ready for battle, in addition to the men’s senior side.

As Cory Hill and Elliot Dee prepare for their must win clash at the Aviva Stadium, Elinor Snowsill and Rebecca De Filippo will continue their 10-12 axis for Wales Women at Donnybrook on Sunday, as Rowland Phillips has decided to make only one change for Sunday’s game as the visitors look to move ahead of Ireland in the table.

The weekend’s action starts Friday at Donnybrook, with Jason Strange ringing the changes for the journey across the Irish Sea.

Three Dragons will start the match with Joe Goodchild selected on the wing, Josh Reynolds at loosehead and Max Williams returns from injury as part of a heavyweight second row. There’s also a spot for Dan Babos amongst the replacements.

"We started the tournament very positively with a good win against Scotland, and while the result was firmly in England's favour in our last outing, we saw enough to be happy about going forward," says head coach Jason Strange. "There's a very good feeling in the camp, and with players coming in and out of regional rugby, we've been able to rotate the squad quite a lot.

"On Friday night we will have capped 24 new players, which is in keeping with our aim to give opportunities for players to stake a claim leading into this year's World Rugby U20 Championship."
