Hale scores but Wales Women beaten

25/02/2019

Wales Women pushed England hard and produced an impressive second-half display – capped by a try from Dragons Women prop Cerys Hale - as they were beaten 51-12 in the Six Nations.

Rowland Phillips' side scored tries in either half through Jess Kavanagh and Cerys Hale at Cardiff Arms Park, with Robyn Wilkins converting the second of those scores.

England pair Sarah Bern and Jessica Breach both scored a brace of tries as they made it three straight wins to stay on course for Grand Slam glory. The Red Roses scored nine in total with Zoe Harrison kicking three conversions.

Dragons duo Caryl Thomas and Bethan Lewis both started the game while Hale was on the bench.
