Hundreds of aspiring young rugby players from across the region enjoyed a festival of rugby last weekend as Rodney Parade hosted the Dragons Cup Finals.
The Dragons Cup – proudly sponsored this season by Monmouthshire Building Society (MBS) – sees junior rugby clubs from across the region battle it out for a spot in the finals at the home of the Dragons.
The cup and plate competitions - that run from Under-12s up to Youth level, have grown in participation numbers over the years and hundreds of youngsters took part in this year’s event as ten games were played in the spring sunshine.
Thank you to everyone who attended the two days to support the young rugby players and our partners, in particular MBS, for making the event such a big success.
