Dragons Community are delighted to announce a new partnership with Locker Stash to support the region’s inclusion programme.
Locker Stash buy, sell and trade pre-loved sports stash and re-invest profits back into grassroots sport, through kit and player sponsorship, along with a bursary style sponsorship for ten to 19-year-olds.
Working with clubs right across the United Kingdom, whether that be rugby, cricket or hockey, the team at Locker Stash are determined to improve the game – thread by thread!
Gareth Sullivan, Community Inclusion Officer at Dragons, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Locker Stash have come onboard to support our Community work and inclusion programme.
“Locker Stash have made a huge difference to clubs right across the country and have worked successfully with many projects, such as Children’s Hospice SW, Homeless Rugby CiC and most recently were headline sponsor for the Women Who Sport podcast.
“Debbie and Guy are keen to help make a real difference across our region and we look forward to our partnership growing for many years to come.”
Locker Stash are run by Guy Hamer and Debbie Hutchinson and they are keen to get started with Dragons Community.
Debbie Hutchinson said: “We are super excited to be working alongside Dragons Community as a partner. The work they do outside of Rodney Parade with the various community groups and engaging with individuals is amazing.”
Guy Hamer added: “When this opportunity arose it was somewhat of a no brainer for Locker Stash to get involved.
“On a personal level, having experienced the atmosphere at Rodney Parade, the passion that the Dragons fans have not just for their rugby team but for the wider community is infectious.
“Therefore making the decision to work alongside such a caring, compassionate and successful community department was too big an opportunity to miss.”
