Dragons scrum half Gonzalo Bertranou has been named in a 47-man squad by Argentina for the upcoming Rugby Championship.
Bertranou, who joined Dean Ryan’s men last season, recently featured for the Pumas in the Summer Test series with Romania and Wales.
The 27-year-old – who has made 10 appearances for Dragons - will now represent his country again after being named by Argentina for the clashes with South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
The Pumas will play six games away from home, kicking off with a double header against the Springboks next month (August 14 and 21) before two games with the All Blacks (September 11 and 18) and Wallabies (September 25 and October 2).
The Rugby Championship will be Argentina’s second of three assignments for 2021. The third, and final, stage will be the November Internationals with Argentina touring France, Italy and Ireland.
