Members of Dragons Academy will be supporting ‘A Match To Remember’ to commemorate and celebrate the lives of two young men close to our hearts.
The unique 24-hour touch rugby charity event is taking place later this month to remember Sam Peard and Ross Mohring.
Teams will take part in the event from noon on Saturday, May 29 until noon on Sunday, May 30 at Whiteheads Sports and Social Club.
Dragons Academy players will feature between 4pm and 5pm on the Saturday in 10 vs 10 games.
The event is fundraising in the memory of both young men for ‘2 Wish Upon A Star’ by playing the game they loved.
When a family loses a child or young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them.
The aim of 2 Wish Upon a Star is to ensure that all those affected by the sudden and traumatic death of a child or a young adult aged 25 or under throughout Wales receive the important support they deserve. For more information on the charity click HERE
