Quartet help Wales edge Wallabies

20/11/2021

Dragons back row Taine Basham was named man-of-the-match as Rhys Priestland kicked an 81st minute penalty to earn Wales victory at the death against 14-man Australia.

Having fallen behind to a 78th minute penalty from Kurtley Beale, Wales went back upfield and won a penalty in the first minute of added time to win with the final kick of the game. In the process, they made it three wins in a row over Australia for the first time since 1975.

Basham started the game alongside fellow Dragon Aaron Wainwright while Elliot Dee and Ben Carter was replacements at Principality Stadium.
