Wales Under-20s suffer final loss

20/03/2022

Wales’ second half revival wasn’t enough as they fell to a 27-20 defeat to Italy at Parc Eirias to finish their U20 Six Nations campaign with only one win.

Dragons had six players representing Wales in the game - Oli Andrew, Adam Williams, Ryan Woodman, Morgan Lloyd, Connor Chapman & Ben Moa.

The Italian youngsters completed a sensational weekend for the game in their country by backing up the victory of their senior counterparts over Wales at Principality Stadium with a bonus point win in Colwyn Bay.

It meant they finished with three wins for the first time in the tournament and scrum half Alessandro Garbisi made it a wonderful weekend for his family by scoring two tries and picking up the man of the match award.

The previous day his elder brother, Paulo, kicked the winning conversion in Italy’s 21-20 Six Nations win in the Welsh capital.
