Cup Draws New Blood

The WWRU Cup Draw took place on 20^th October 2006, with a fantastic total of 23 teams entering this season, including five new teams.  Round One on 5^th November 06 will consist of the following seven fixtures with the remaining nine teams receiving byes:

Whitland            v          Gwernyfed

Cardiff Quins      v          Rhigos

Neath Athletic    v          Llandaff North Eagles

Lampeter Uni     v          Tredegar Ironsides

Pontyclun          v          Birchgrove

Ruthin               v          Bangor Uni

Byes :Ynys Mon, Dolgellau, Bro Ffestiniog, Bala, Nant Conwy, Tylorstown, Blaenau Gwent, Llandaff North, UWIC

Teams losing in the first or second round of the Cup will automatically be entered into the Plate Competition.  Plate fixtures will be played on the same dates as the cup with an additional fixture on the 11^th March 2007 because of the growing numbers in the competition.
