Newport Gwent Dragons forecast a super start to the 2008/09 season as Guinness Premiership hopefuls Saracens - to include former Dragon Michael Owen - set to visit Rodney Parade for a thrilling pre-season friendly on Friday 22 August(kick Off 7.30pm).

Newport Gwent Dragons v Saracens promises to be a spectacular rugby occasion with the opposition training hard in advance of the game.
The Saracens have announced that they will return to the Training Centre in Hatfield at the end of the month before heading off for a week long training camp to Portugal to prepare for a clash with Bayonne on Friday 8th August in France. The Saracens will also play in St Albans against Australian Super 14 outfit Western Force, who are touring the UK, before travelling east to Rodney Parade for an exciting Dragons fixture.
