Turner Makes No Change to Winning Team

Newport Gwent Dragons Head Coach Paul Turner makes no change to the team that kick started their Heineken Cup campaign with a win over Glasgow Warriors as they set out to face Bath at the Rec on Sunday 11 October, kick-off 1.00pm.

The Head Coach is looking for his team to build on last weekend’s performance and a successful week of training at Rodney Parade. He said:

“I was pleased with the performance of the team in the Heineken Cup game against Glasgow Warriors which proved a real vote of confidence ahead of this weekend’s encounter with Bath.

“The players have trained well all week and are aware that we need to have an edge about us going into the tough challenge on Sunday.

“Bath is a difficult place to go but having won there as both a player and a coach I am confident that they are not an unbeatable side as Gloucester and Leicester have proved already this season.”

Captain Tom Willis acknowledges the challenge that awaits the Dragons at Bath on Sunday. He said:

“We were delighted to get the Heineken Cup off to a great start last weekend yet we are aware that we will be up against it and will need to put in an excellent performance at Bath on Sunday.”
