The next generation of Future Dragons and Wales players are developed through our regional age grade programme and it is an exciting breeding ground for new talent.
Applicants should hold at least a Level 2 coaching certificate, have a full DBS check and most importantly, be able to demonstrate a background and enthusiasm for developing future elite talent. Upon application, candidates will be asked to interview for the role, which will be based at our new Performance Centre at Ystrad Mynach.
Successful applicants will then join the exclusive group where they will receive support and development opportunities provided by the WRU and Dragons staff. This will include:

Coach mentoring

Regular development sessions with professional WRU and Dragons Coaches

Training kit and equipment

Opportunities for further formal development through the WRU
Our Regional Age Grade programme is an ideal pathway for aspiring future performance coaches to learn and develop.
