This service, a first for any rugby stadium, is provided by Orderella with the payment processing powered by Paythru, who have entered into a trial partnership with Rodney Parade, to provide this service to supporters, for Dragons’ matches.
How it works
Download the Orderella App onto your smartphone, either from the App Store (IPhone) or Google Play (Android). Enter your credit card details, once only, then wait for match day. At the Glasgow match, anytime that you fancy a drink, use the Orderella App to place your order. You will be updated via the App, as your order is progressed. When it is ready, you will be supplied with an order collection code. Pop down to the extreme far end of the concourse bar, where you will see the Orderella collection point. Show your collection code to the bar staff at the collection point and pick up your drink.
Payment is dealt with by your credit card company, in the normal fashion and you will not have to show your credit card or anything other than your collection code, to staff at the Orderella collection point.
Orderella have turned down working with other stadia in favour of launching with the Dragons. If the trial is a success, the service will be extended to other parts of the ground and special services may be provided for season ticket holders. It may also become possible, at some future stage, to use Orderella in some local pubs and clubs.
