Taylor to support epic charity cycle

02/06/2021

Back row ace Huw Taylor will take to the saddle next month to support a gruelling charity cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End for Maul Together.

Maul Together are a rugby based fundraising team, spreading the rugby ethos and team spirit to charities and individuals that need it most.

The cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End is taking place between July 23 and July 31 to raise money for two selected charities – My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and the Matt Hampson Foundation.

Taylor, 24, will be one of the guest riders to help the cyclists on their long journey while raising money for a good cause as they cover 958.5 miles on nine days.

Other guest riders include England international and Gloucester-Hartpury Women starr Kelly Smith, Henry Purdy from Bristol Bears, Bath Rugby’s Elliott Stooke and Gloucester star Mark Atkinson.

The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation invests in research to find meaningful treatments and work towards finding a cure for motor neuron disease. It supports people with MND and their families, to help them live as fulfilled a life as possible. For more information click HERE

The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured through sport. Through expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice, the Foundation helps people with life-changing injuries to get busy living again. CLICK for more.
