Dean Ryan admits he is looking forward to watching his back row ‘spark off each other’ after naming Wales internationals Aaron Wainwright and Ross Moriarty together.
Wainwright has been released from Wales duty for the Guinness PRO14 game at the Brewery Field (kick-off 7.35pm) while Moriarty will make his second appearance after returning last weekend against Zebre.
"We rarely get that back row dilemma and competition. I am looking forward to those good players and how they spark off each other," said Ryan ahead of the game in Bridgend.
"Ross was a stand-out player for us at Zebre, so that's a spark for Aaron and others to keep raising performances.
"Harri (Keddie) has been one of our most consistent performers and Ben Fry was probably man of the match against Leinster.
"We have definitely got some youngsters who have taken their opportunities but we also have some hugely experienced campaigners who, as we saw with Ross, make a huge difference when they come in.
"Ross was outstanding last week. It wasn't a great performance by us but Ross was a stand-out player,” he added.
"His contribution was enormous. I am looking forward to seeing him and 'Waino' together."
